Both Katie and Cheryl were escorted from their gates, and were subsequently greeted by a huge crowd of paparazzi. The photographers had to be held back from airport security and local police officers as Cheryl made her way to her waiting car, while Katie made her way through the crowd with son Harvey and her team of assistants. Cheryl Cole has flown into LA 'to work on some music', but reports suggest she is meeting with TV execs to discuss her role as a judge on the US version of X Factor.
