And one thing that couldn't be dulled was the 43-year-old's megawatt smile as she was presented with the Board of Governors Award by fellow actor Tom Hanks. Julia was honoured during the 25th Annual ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards gala here at the Hollywood & Highland Grand Ballroom in Los Angeles. The Eat, Pray, Love star has just signed on for her next role. The mother-of-three has apparently signed on to play the nasty queen in the 3-D The Brothers Grimm: Snow White, produced by Brett Ratner. The modern take on Snow Whjite sees her looking for revenge, with the help of the seven dwarves, as she seeks out the evil stepmother who killed her father. Shooting on the Tarsem Singh directed movie is scheduled to begin this April, with a release date of next June. But Julia's fans won't have to wait until then to see her on the big screen. Her next film Larry Crowne, which also stars Tom Hanks, is out later this year. |

It's another film about oil but this time set in the 1930s Arab states at the dawn of the oil boom. Banderas plays an Arab prince torn between allegiance to his conservative father and modern, liberal father-in-law. The cast also includes some other big names like Mark Strong, Freida Pinto and Un Prophete's Tahar Rahim. I've even heard it described as a bit like Lawrence of Arabia meets There Will Be Blood, and it definitely looks like it could be that good. The root of the conflict reportedly comes by way of 50 Cent launching a headphone line, Sleek By 50 Cent, making himself competition with the popular Beats By Dre line that Iovine and the Aftermath iconic producer famously launched years ago.
