The cast and crew were filming a scene extremely late one night. The late shooting timings meant shops had to be kept closed-this was making a wine shop owner extremely furious. The owner threatened to disrupt the shoot and come in front of the camera. He only relented when Ranveer Singh went up to him and said "Please sir let us shoot. This is my first film and very important for my career." The owner then melted and let the cast and crew shoot all night long!
