Ilayathalapathy Vijay is busy in wrapping up Kaavalan and had started Velayudham directed by M. Raja with Vijay. Genelia D’Souza, and Hansika Motwani playing the lead roles in this film.
In this busy schedule Vijay took time to watch Brindavaanam the latest hit in Tollywood starring Junior NTR, Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha. The hero liked the story very much and making his plans to own the rights.
Earlier Vijay had done few remakes of Telugu films,which were hits at the box office.So this made him to watch Telugu movies and his interest in bagging the remake rights.
