This year, awards will be given to celebrities such as Halle Berry and LPGA Champion Cristie Kerr. In the past 16 years the event has raised almost $65 million for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center. |

Lovato, a singer and star of Disney Channel's Sonny With A Chance, quit touring with the Jonas Brothers in October to seek "medical treatment for emotional and physical issues," her camp said at the time, later noting that Lovato had fought eating disorders, was bullied at school and had struggled with cutting. Substance abuse issues were denied. She completed a 90-day in-patient treatment program in Illinois at the end of January. "The journey that I've been on has been very, very difficult over the past few months. I was dealing with issues I know not only girls just my age but all ages are dealing with," she says in the video message. "I can't tell you how much light you guys brought into my life in probably the darkest time of my life."She says in her video that she is "excited to get back to work." |

Matchbox Twenty is scheduled to perform as the opening act for the musical portion of the show, followed by performances from Kelly, Bret and 10-year-old opera singing sensation Jackie Evancho, from America’s Got Talent. The event is scheduled to be held at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona on March 19th at 6:30 p.m.
