Jessica Alba & Ashton Kutcher Deemed Worst Actors at Razzie Awards Posted: 27 Feb 2011 10:58 PM PST Jessica Alba & Ashton Kutcher Deemed Worst Actors at Razzie Awards: On the same weekend that the stars will gather to celebrate the best in cinema at the Oscars, others got together to recognize the worst in movies at the Razzie Awards.
Ashton Kutcher received the title of Worst Actor for his role in the romantic comedy 'Killers.' Meanwhile, it was a four-way tie for the Worst Actress award with 'Sex and the City' gals Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon getting the prize. The actresses also won for Worst Screen Ensemble and the movie got Worst Sequel. |
Eva Mendes Videos: Eva Mendes & John Waters and more from the scene Posted: 27 Feb 2011 10:53 PM PST Eva Mendes Videos: Eva Mendes & John Waters and more from the scene: At Saturday's Independent Spirit Awards, "Black Swan" won declared the best picture. Natalie Portman was named best actress. James Franco walked with a trophy for best actor. And a multitude of exceptional famous people nearly froze to death, thanks to freakishly cold Southern California weather and some robust breezes off the Pacific Ocean in Santa Monica, where the ceremony was held.
As noted in a previous post, the brisk temperatures and (possibly the fatigue of one too many Oscar-season interviews) compelled many celebs to skip the Spirit Awards red carpet. But a few people stopped to chat. The always game John Waters, for example, was happy to share his thoughts about the Oscars/Spirit Awards overlap:
And, as you'll see after the jump, both Eva Mendes and "The Kids Are All Right" director and co-writer Lisa Cholodenko had something to say about what the Spirit Awards mean to them. Here's a clip of Eva Mendes, chatting with folks from IFC just before she got whisked off the carpet, leaving a number of pathetic reporters futilely shouting "Eva!" in her wake. |
Emma Watson Videos: Modeling for Fair Trade People Tree Line Posted: 27 Feb 2011 10:49 PM PST Emma Watson Videos: Modeling for Fair Trade People Tree Line: That Alberta Ferretti collaboration isn’t the only clothing line Emma Watson has been working on — her final collection for eco-friendly brand People Tree debuts tomorrow.
The collection is her third for the company, which specializes in fair trade fashion. Watson has been hands-on in the process, even traveling to Bangladesh to oversee production. Ever the overachiever, she worked on the line while studying at Brown (which, now that we think about it, seems quite appropriate):
You’ll be able to check out the entire line here when it launches tomorrow, but for now take a peek at Emma modeling her wares below. (And as a bonus, we’ve also included an interview Watson filmed in Bangladesh.) |
